Cleaner - Defence Facility (Casual | Full-Time Hours Available)

Location: Puckapunyal, VIC
Pay Rate: $32.31 per hour + superannuation (weekly pay)
Employment Type: Casual with full-time hours available
Assignment Length: 3‑month current assignment with potential for permanent employment

About the Role

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Cleaners to join a team working at a secure government defence facility in Puckapunyal. This role offers consistent day shifts, flexible start times, and ongoing work for the right candidates.

You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across accommodation, amenities, and office areas while working in an operational environment.

Shift Options

Flexible day shifts available:

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 7:00am - 3:00pm
• 8:00am - 4:00pm

Availability required: Monday to Friday

Full-time shifts available: Mon-Fri work
Adhoc shifts available: 1-4 shifts per week, depending on workload

Key Duties

• Daily cleaning of bathrooms and shower facilities
• Accommodation cleaning, housekeeping, and bed making (experience dependent)
• Cleaning office and administration areas
• Working safely around staff on phones and on-site personnel
• Maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times

Skills & Experience

• Previous commercial cleaning experience
• Hospital cleaning experience (highly regarded)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Comfortable working in an occupied and secure environment

Requirements

• Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
• Current Australian Police Check (issued within the last 30 days or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Driver's Licence and own reliable transport (required to move between locations on site)
• Ability to commit to ongoing weekday work
• No mandatory formal qualifications required
