Dealing assistants are responsible for supporting the Corporate and Ecommerce dealing teams in managing the day-to-day transactional requirements of our clients ensuring high levels of service through administrative excellence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Dealing with client queries and requests e.g. request from a client to draw down from a forward contract and sending automatic confirmations.
  • Adding beneficiary details (payees) on behalf of clients and setting up onward payments where appropriate.
  • Execution of currency deals.
  • Reporting on daily tasks for the dealing team (overdue clients, credits on account etc)
  • Liaising with other departments within the company to ensure a smooth client journey from start to finish e.g. Operations team regarding payment queries.
  • General administration tasks, including but not limited to: handling overflow telephone calls, allocating payments, managing various spreadsheets for the team, preparing introductory packs for new members of the team.
  • Performing market research on what factors are impacting FXFX markets and scripting templates to update our client book accordingly.
  • Liaising with sales team to build tailored presentations for meetings.
  • Working directly with the Head of Dealing in the development and roll out of special projects.

Key Capabilities:

  • Able to demonstrate strong communication skills through building mutually beneficial relationships both internally and externally and the ability to engage openly with people at all levels including senior level decision makers
  • Demonstrates effective time management and work organisation; engages in conversations with their colleagues to challenge priorities and agree a way forward effectively
  • Provides colleagues with information, data and advice to help them exercise sound judgement for the benefit of the client and World First
  • Bilingual speaking (Chinese), preferred but not vital.
