An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Competency Coordinator with Rail experience to work on a 9 month contract in Melbourne's CBD. The key focus of the role is to ensure that all competencies are maintained for project staff within the organisation. Rail experience is essential for this position as you will be coordinating the end to end Rail Industry Workers card applications.
Responsibilities include:
- Being the first point of contact for creation and renewals of access cards
- Providing advice to stakeholders on rail safety requirements
- Reviewing competency status reports and uploading and communicating to internal management
- Assisting in identifying and resolving issues in risk management
About you:
- 2 years + in a similar position
- Rail experience is essential
- Competency systems experience with QR, Aurizon, ARTC and more
- Excellent communication with all stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced organisation
