The Role

As the Corporate Finance Analyst, you will report to a talented, technically astute leader, eager to mentor the successful applicant. The Corporate Financial Analyst's duties will include, but not be limited to:-

  • Provide insights into financial drivers/success of projects for management decision making
  • Undertake detailed investment research and analysis
  • Responsible for the provision of financial modelling and commercial analysis
  • Undertake financial and commercial due diligence on new opportunities
  • Assisting with management of existing investment portfolio
  • Build and maintain financial forecasting tool for corporate planning
  • Build and maintain financial models used in the acquisition and divestment of assets
  • Preparation of high-quality presentations for investment or commercial decisions
  • Perform company, industry, and market research in all areas of the value chain

About you

The successful Corporate Finance Analyst is a champion of continuous improvement and innovation. A background in corporate finance, M&A, plus strong modelling skills will be highly desirable in this forward-looking position.

You are degree qualified in a finance or economics discipline (or other analytical degree) with a high degree of computer literacy/financial modelling experience. You will ideally be a qualified accountant (CA/CPA) and able to liaise across all levels of departments to drive financial performance and initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to support budgeting and forecasting process within a large complex organisation
  • 2-4 years previous analyst experience is desirable, most likely in a big 4 environment or investment bank
