This large Federal Government agency requires and experienced Data Analyst to join the Conformance and Assurance team on a contractual basis for 7-months with the option to extend further. You will work as directed on specific project requirements across the team.
Reporting to the Conformance and Assurance Manager, you will use the Agency's analysis tools to assess the quality of data recorded in clinical documents such as health summaries and discharge summaries and write reports on data quality. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Agency's data quality tools.
To be successful in this role you will require the skills and experience:
- Sound understanding of clinical informatics and clinical terminology
- Sound understanding of data analytics, XML and XML tools and query languages including Schematron, XPath and XSLT
- Familiarity with digital health specifications, HL7 CDA, FHIR and other related standards
- Ability to work with spreadsheets, especially charting functions of MS-Excel
- Good report writing skills
- Requirement to hold current Base Level security clearance, in which Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility and Maintain relevant national police check.
