Deployment Technician - Project work in Melbourne (Remote support experience)

About this role
In this role the resource will be responsible for the remote deployment of a software package to production stores. Technicians will be expected to follow a comprehensive set of installation procedures, ensuring all customer requirements are met on daily basis. The role will require strong communication skills, high level of Windows OS application experience and the ability to work within a team environment reporting into a Project Team.
Minimum Requirements
- Personal Laptop with Windows OS (WIFI/Wireless capable)
- Mobile Phone capable of making local calls
- Aptitude of Level 2 helpdesk engineer
- Personal vehicle to transport to and from a project office (Metro Melbourne) as needed
- Ability to work remotely
Desired Skillset
- Experience with Microsoft platforms, including Microsoft Teams
- Experience and discipline in working remotely
- Previous Windows OS desktop level troubleshooting
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Work within a Team environment reporting into a wider project team/lead
- Ability to escalate when/as needed
- Flexibility and desire to complete a task should issues arise throughout
