Job Title: Electrical Assembler (Product Electrical Technician)
Location: Hallam

Job Summary:

Responsible for assembling, testing, commissioning, and repairing electrical equipment based on customer specifications, drawings, and standards. This includes panel wiring, component fitting, and machine commissioning in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and wire electrical panels and gear trays
• Fit and connect components and cables per specifications
• Conduct fault finding, testing, and commissioning of machines
• Use electrical drawings, diagrams, and standards
• Perform compliance checks and functional verification
• Apply OH&S regulations and workplace safety practices
• Troubleshoot and repair low voltage circuits and apparatus
• Use relevant computer applications and measurement tools

Selection Criteria:

Qualifications:

• Electrical Fitter qualification or equivalent
• Connect/disconnect certification (preferred)

Experience & Knowledge:

• 2-3 years in electrical assembly, including panel building
• Skilled in reading electrical schematics and engineering drawings
• Experience with soldering, wiring, and using hand tools

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and workplace software
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime
