The opportunity:

In this contract role, you will plan, execute and manage field marketing activities for the growing Public Sector market across Australia & New Zealand within a subsidiary of a leading software-enterprise company.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Public Sector sales leadership team to develop a deep understanding of their business. Build a strategic marketing plan to support exceeding marketing and sales targets.
  • Build and complete your own integrated marketing campaigns, including face-to-face, 3rd party events, EDMs, customer marketing, and webinars to generate sales opportunities and meet the specific needs of Public Sector.
  • Work with the industry's most respected sales team and leaders to support the execution of collaborative programs that help find new buyers and cross-sell into existing accounts.
  • Publish and monitor frequent campaign scorecards to share results, learnings and best practices with key stakeholders; adjust the plans and priorities to stay focussed on pipe generation targets.
  • Have the capability to orchestrate, negotiate, prioritise and manage project deliverables with other members of the marketing and communications organisation as needed (including digital, PR, partner marketing, events and customer marketing).
  • Evaluate the performance and return on investment of marketing campaigns against goals.
  • Work on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution.
  • Manage program activities including execution, analysis, and optimisation.
  • Support the regional localisation strategy and content development

About You:

  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience/high-tech or marketing experience, preferably in a field facing role
  • Bachelor level degree preferably with a Marketing, Communications or Business emphasis.
  • Strong understanding of demand generation and a track record of owning campaigns and driving success.
  • Experience managing projects to a fixed budget and proven ROI.
  • Ability to analyse multiple sets of data and provided timely insights to marketing and sales leadership to proactively ensure marketing campaign success.
  • Strong communication skills and a proven collaboration mindset to collaborate with a range of stakeholders including cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives with a track record for meeting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience within the Public Sector in Australia and New Zealand
  • Willing to travel as needed
  • Adapts well to constant change and meet changing requirements
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and great at anticipating what's needed.
  • Experience using marketing tools such as Marketo, Responsys, Demandbase, Drupal, Swoogo, On24, Wrike, Tableau (preferred)
  • Skilled in using CRM reporting tools (preferred)
