Job description
Keepsake Prep Coordinator (Temp)
Location: South Windsor
Rate : $37.44 p/hour
Our client is Australia's largest provider of pet cremation services and is currently seeking a Temporary Keepsake Prep Coordinator to support their team in South Windsor. This opportunity offers flexibility, with the option of full-time hours or temporary shift-based work depending on your availability.
This is a unique role suited to someone who is comfortable working in an environment that involves handling deceased pets and supporting memorial preparation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Create personalised keepsakes such as clay, ink and digital paw prints, fur clippings, and memorial items
- Place ashes into urns, wooden boxes and jewellery, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Prepare pets for viewings with care and respect
- Coordinate engraving and quality control of keepsake products
- Maintain accurate records and data entry using internal systems
- Assist with stock control, warehouse duties and deliveries
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and WH&S compliance
- Provide compassionate and professional customer service, including handling phone enquiries
Skills & Experience
- Naturally compassionate with a calm and respectful approach
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Comfortable with hands on tasks and standing for extended periods
- Physically fit and able to lift moderate weights
- Confident using computer systems and MS Office
- Reliable, team oriented, and values driven
- Q Fever vaccination (required or willingness to obtain)
Experience in animal care, healthcare, funerals, veterinary clinics, or similar service-based environments will be highly regarded.
