Linen Assistant - Canberra

We are currently seeking Linen Assistants to join a large, growing team based in Canberra. This role is ideal for reliable individuals who enjoy hands‑on work in a structured, team-focused environment.

About the Role

As a Linen Assistant, you will support daily linen processing operations, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained at all times.

Key Duties

• Processing linen through industrial machines
• Sorting and organising soiled and clean linen
• Folding and stacking linen neatly into flat piles
• Operating industrial equipment such as washers, ironers, and folders
• Performing manual handling tasks including lifting, carrying, and transporting linen
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Requirements

• Availability to work between 7am - 7pm, Monday to Saturday, including public holidays
• Full Australian working rights
• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual tasks
• Reliable and able to work consistently
• Able to pass a clean criminal history check
• Willing to complete a pre-employment medical assessment
