Our client requires several Mechanical Fitters to perform maintenance, servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance; undertake major overhauls and authorised modifications to vehicles, plant and defence equipment to the extent of trade qualifications, skills and experience in accordance with the clients instructions and procedures and manufacturers specifications servicing at the Palmer Barracks in Guildford, Western Australia. The role is full time and will go permanently after 6 months. This job is a standard 38 hours a week
Skills & Experience
- Must have Trade certificate in Mechanical Fitting, Cert III Engineering (Mechanical)
- Large Machinery, Truck and heavy equipment experience is highly regarded.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong commitment to safe working practices
- Proven problem-solving ability with strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Candidates will require an AFP check and must be able to achieve Baseline security clearance.
- Must be an Australian citizen
- must be fully vaccinated
- must have a police clearance
To be successful in this role you must be motivated and be willing to put in the effort required to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
