Our client a large well known retail banking and finance organisation is seeking an experienced Program Manager to handling a diverse mix of projects, ranging from complex technology deliverables to system and operational enhancements.

The role will require liaison with local business owners and key business users to ensure a strong and clear understanding of the project objectives, to provide clear and regular feedback on project progress and to successfully implement these critical initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for the successful delivery of approved critical RBWM projects and change management to support the RBWM Business.
  • Provide appropriate data and reporting to support live projects, and post implementation reporting for lessons learned and benefit realization.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key partners, in particular HOST, to ensure successful project delivery.Mentor other team members on project and change management disciplines.
  • Mentor other team members on project and change management disciplines.Effectively manage initiatives, ensuring project timelines are met; projects are completed according to Group, compliance & regulatory standards and are delivered within budget expectations.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of AML regulatory requirements and internal processes for controlling AML risk through completion of training

To be successful you will need:

  • Minimum of five years proven and progressive business / change / project management experience.
  • Experience with both waterfall and agile
  • Formal Project Management qualification preferred
  • Proven track record in managing change including budgetary management and making / recommending trade-off decisions.
  • Ability to seek out and improve on best practice and capability.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with all stakeholders.
