ManpowerGroup is currently working with a State Government department who is now looking for a Project Accountant to join the team on an initial 12-month contract where you'll be supporting a new project from setup to completion.
What to Expect
- Set up the project from an accounting/procurement/training perspective
- Coordinate WIP reviews
- Assist Finance Manager with Monthly Financials,general journals and management meeting reports
- Review Tender submissions documentation, and prepare reports for Project Managers
- Raise of invoices to clients and project purchase orders
- Train staff in new processes and project costing
- Identify problems/errors and investigate issues with project costing and contracts.
About you
- Minimum CA/CPA part-qualification
- Experience in project accounting using SAP and PowerBI
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead, persuade, negotiate, consult with, and provide advice to internal and external stakeholders
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously where needed to achieve required outcomes within specified deadlines/time frames
