Manpower is actively engaged with a State Government department that is now looking for a Project Support Officer to play a key role in offering support to the Victorian Energy Compare suite of programs. This role is responsible for the administration and customer service tasks related to their specific bonus program.
The successful applicant will have administrative experience and a strong customer service delivery focus. An understanding of the retail energy market and regulatory experience is desirable.
This is temporary VPS 3 role will commence ASAP.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide administrative and customer support to ensure timely delivery of the Power Saving Bonus program, as well customer support mechanisms (online chat support, offline correspondence and other general support)
- Provide an accurate and timely data entry and word processing service.
- Draft project reports and briefings to the management team and key stakeholders (e.g., updating project plans, monthly reports)
- Identify emerging opportunities and risks to the implementation of the work program and resolve operational issues consistent with program objectives.
- Contribute to successful delivery of programs and projects, identification and management of project risks, creation of efficient business systems and execution strategies.
- Obtains, summarises and reports on stakeholder views.
- To practice cultural safety by creating environments, relationships, and systems free from racism and discrimination so that people can feel safe, valued and able to participate.
Key Selection Criteria
- Understanding of Government and regulatory development processes, the retail energy market, and information technology solutions.
- A qualification applicable to the energy sector and/or expertise in information technology and project management project delivery is desirable.
