About the company

Our client is a dynamic technically solution-based company offering integrated piping systems for the distribution and control of liquids and gases for its vertical, like industries, utilities, commercial and mining clients.

They are a business that truly offers its clients a single sourced and complete integrated solution.

We are seeking a well-connected, with strong networks, a highly motivated, and passionate Sales Director for their Western Australian operation.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate and meet our customers acquisition and revenue growth objectives, with responsibilities that will include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. They are required to also successfully execute these strategies to achieve your financial targets.
Key responsibilities

  • Drive project spec-in of Shurjoint grooved product portfolio.

  • Convert project spec into sales results.

  • Develop and enhance distribution network.

  • Provide on-site technical support and training to customers

What we seek:

  • An Engineering degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated commercial experience in piping systems with strong mining and/or tunnelling, HVAC background.

  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level

  • Project spec-in and conversion capability.

  • Deep knowledge and strong connection in consultant and contractor community in mining industry.

  • Enthusiasm and strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter.

  • Ability to work as part of a small team across international business functions.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services

  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions
