ROLE PURPOSE

This role is located at the Bastow Institute of Educational Leadership and will lead the procurement process for procurement activities within Bastow. To support the development and timely implementation of the Academy this will involve the scoping, planning, development of documentation and implementation of the procurement process for a number of procurement activities. These procurement activities will seek engagement of suppliers for both policy-based professional learning activities and facility based equipment and service purchases.

This position requires the successful applicant to demonstrate a high level of initiative, experience and knowledge in the scoping, development and implementation of the procurement process. To support effeciency and timeliness, the successful applicant will posses strong written communication skills as well as planning and organising skills. Due to the collaborative nature of Bastow, the position must also posses a high level of interpersonal and stakeholder management skills as well as the capacity to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on behalf of Bastow.
