Accountabilities

  • Provide high level strategic advice, supporting research and analysis.
  • Working as part of a team, set expectations for entities throughout the business planning cycle and participate in the review of corporate plans, annual reports, capital project delivery and performance monitoring and reporting
  • Actively support the Executive Director, Partnerships and Sector Performance in their role as the key relationship manager.
  • Prepare high level correspondence and briefing notes for senior management and Ministers
  • Represent the Department at forums and seminars as required

    Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
  • An appropriate tertiary qualification or knowledge of business planning, governance and performance monitoring practice would be desirable
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders to achieve outcomes
  • Strategic Planning: Identifies and develops own and team objectives linking strategies to actions to achieve these; Guides others in strategic planning process.
  • Project Delivery: Defines tasks to be delivered to meet agreed outcomes; Coordinates and guides others in the execution of work activities; Monitors progress of tasks against plans and takes corrective action when required.
  • Knowledge or experience of the Victorian water sector is desirable
  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence would be desirable
