    The Role

    Working within their Tax and Accounting team, you could already be a Business Services Accountant, or ready to take that next step in your career. The team will manage clients of various sizes in this department with a billable value up to around $2million.

    The Brisbane office is young and dynamic. with 15 partners and approximately 140 staff. The firm has grown through natural business growth and their partnership has been created from within, not through merger or acquisition.

    Manpower are currently seeking a Risk Analyst for their globally recognised client in Sydney CBD office for a 4-6week temporary assignment.

    This role will be responsible for implementing comprehensive compliance and operations for all markets and businesses within the Asia-Pacific Region

    Supporting the fight against money laundering, coordination is a critical element to this role and you will be required to develop and foster key stakeholder relationships.

    Your day to day position duties:

    * Investigate and assess alerts relating to potential money laundering risks in the organisation
    * Summarise findings in a clear and concise manner to management providing recommendations
    * Actively participate in ensuring that appropriate anti-money laundering (AML) procedures, systems and controls are implemented and being followed
    * Liaise with stakeholders and offer advice and support with regard to AML matters
    * Assist in other AML and sanctions related projects as required

    Skills / Qualifications to be considered for the role:

    * Aptitude for analysis, investigation, attention to detail & problem solving
    * Very strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop relationships
    * A high level of knowledge and understanding of AML and related regulatory requirements, especially the AU and NZ environments
    * Experience in identifying money laundering risks, in particular for credit cards, foreign exchange services, prepaid products, travellers cheques amongst others
    * At least 3 years experience or more of demonstrated Anti Money Laundering compliance experience

    * Provide accounting support on special projects related to key business and financial initiatives
    * Provide financial expertise to internal business partners on US GAAP and Internal Policies

    * Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills
    * Experience of working in a highly matrix organization
