    Project Manager

    Construction

    The key purpose of this role is to safely deliver specified Wind Farm projects on time and budget, within contractual obligations and Vestas corporate requirements:

      Project management in accordance with PMBOK principles.Site liaison and direction.Client relationship development and management.Contractor / Subcontractor management.Active project risk management.Accountability for the project budget and cashflow.Overall accountability for safety and quality compliance at project level

    Responsibilities:

      Communicate with project team and all stakeholders.Contract finalisation, including terms and conditions, warranty and handover.Applying contractual obligations to client expectations, while upholding Vestasâ contract position.Negotiate agreed outcomes to contract disputes, and finalise contract legals on project completion.Accurate and timely reporting to client.Liaise with Sales in pre-sales feasibility, scoping projects and providing estimate costings.Manage transition from Sales to Project Phase and to Service.Assess issues and risk, manage resolutions.Ensure the project meets its objectives.Determine, implement and analyse the project cost controls. Project progress reports, collated monthly and at milestones, variances to timeline and OH&S.

    Qualifications:

      Degree in Engineering â Mechanical, Civil or Electrical. Managed teams in a major project environment.Managed projects in major infrastructure environment.Management and reporting of budgetary requirements.Management of complex infrastructure contracts.Negotiation with major stakeholders, both clients / contractors.Experience in high pressure environment.
