    The Hours of Work
    Varies, on call work, must be flexible for D/S, A/S and N/S from Monday-Sunday.

    Shifts are:

    6:00am - 10am, 6am - 12pm, 6am - 4pm, 4pm - 8pm, 4pm - midnight, 23:59-04:44 (Sunday nights/ public holidays)

    This role is a casual ongoing position and it is essential that you possess prior experience within a similar role or within the environment.

    Your duties will consist of the following but will not be limited to:

    Our client provides equipment rental for staging of events for the Touring Music industry. This includes trained staff for professional setup and dismantling.

    Your duties will consist of Medium to Heavy Lifting, up to 30kg (Two man lift over 25kg). Please keep in mind when applying for this role that this will be a lift and carry in most instances.

    The position is for the 13th February, 2017 to unload trucks and set up the venue then to return to work on 14th January to dismantle equipment and reload trucks. You must have full availability over the 2 days as hours can be varied.

    The location of work is at a multi-purpose sports and entertainment stadium in Yarra Park.

    Job purpose

    * Monitor the condition of plant and equipment to ensure repairs and maintenance work are undertaken in accordance with guidelines including preventative maintenance
    * To assist the functions and day to day operations to ensure the completion of jobs in accordance with safety and environmental standards, customer expectations and performance targets

    Duties and Responsibilities

    * Initially part of the commissioning team, the successful candidate will need to check the correct operating of the various components of the plant (conveyor, trommel)
    * Be proactive to suggest improvements to ease everyday work
    * In a second step, sucessful candidate will be part of the maintenance team to maintain the plant in operation
    a) by fulfilling preventive/routine maintenance and survey of its equipment
    b) by fulfilling corrective (replacing components with spare ones, adjusting mechanical or electrical settings)

    Required skills and qualification

    * Relevant Trade Qualification
    * Experience in waste management plant operations desirable
    * Ablity to read electrical drawing / diagnose breakdown / Implement LOTO procedure

They will contribute to the production process by sorting, washing, feeding, ironing, folding and packing linen to ensure customer orders are ready to be delivered on time.

    Job Responsibilities:
    * Ensure all finished product adheres to relevant quality standards which assists in maintaining customer satisfaction.
    * Work safely and in accordance with processes and procedures.
    * Be able to stand for long periods of time and undertake some physical work including lifting, carrying and transporting soiled and clean linen over the course of the day.
    * Identify and report hazards and incidents immediately to the relevant Supervisor or Leading Hand.
    * Work with clean and soiled linen.
    * Work with a range of industrial machines like washing machines, ironers and folders.
    * Fill out daily production data sheets and other production information where required.
    * Participate in customer stocktakes
    * Internally and externally promote high quality, responsive customer service principles, practices and attributes.
    * Contribute to the improvement of the laundry production process through the sharing of ideas.
    * Be a positive influence on the team to maintain and assist in the improvement of workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
    * Work overtime and or weekends where required.
    * Answering the telephone in a respectful and courteous manner.
    * Rotate throughout the plant where required.

    To be successful with your application:

    1. Experience working in the laundry or similar industry is desirable but not compulsory
    2. Demonstrated commitment to working in a team environment with a strong focus on the customer.
