Our client is leading manufacturer of pet tags, dedicated to providing high-quality products to our customers. As we expand and grow, we are seeking multiple candidates for the role of General Hand to join our dynamic team.
Workshop environment. Previous experience using hand and power tools ideal. Requires a good level of physical fitness and strength for handling the materials.
Primary Activities - Accountabilities
- Handling plastic sheet materials and assisting CNC machine operators loading and unloading machines
- Assembling machined pieces into structures for testing.
- Selecting components from pick lists and interpreting work instructions for assembly.
- Using hand tools, basic power tools, and workshop equipment.
- Using PC software to upgrade and configure electronic devices.
- Complete all production reports and other documentation ensuring good communication and record keeping practices.
- Promptly raise all machine issues, malfunctions or product quality concerns with your supervisor.
- Ensuring a high level of tidiness and organization is maintained around production machine.
- Be proactive in site safety by promptly informing through EH&S Officers and representatives of any hazards, risks, or incidents.
- Remain informed on all company procedures, policies, and other information by participating in shift toolbox meetings and completing policy training.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the Quality and Environmental Health & Safety procedures and policies.

Additional Information:
- Our client is relocating the warehouse in a few months, so flexibility to travel between locations in Capalaba and Murarrie may be required.
