The role:
- Undertake maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks to minimise plant downtime.
- Work on minor improvement projects.
- Work on upgrades, overhauls, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on heavy complex assets
- Apply fault finding techniques to identify and address problems with machinery, equipment, or parts
About you:
- Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Experience in gear boxes and motors
- Working at Heights and confined space tickets
- LF Ticket
- Must be able to read / interpret workshop drawings
- Able to undertake MIG and TIG welds
- Reading of Schematics
- Competent knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic systems
- Must have competent level knowledge of OH&S legislation, relevant codes of practice and regulations
