About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated contractor to assist in organising an upcoming event in 2024. If you're a dynamic individual with a strong marketing background, project management skills, an eye for detail, a willingness for occasional travel, and the chance to become long term, we want to hear from you!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including major brands, agencies, and industry experts.
  • Assist in the end-to-end organisation of the Alibaba e-Commerce Expo, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all participants.
  • Play a pivotal role in marketing strategies, website management, and tracking social ROI.
  • Manage projects, both internally and with external partners, to meet deadlines and achieve success.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail, even when tackling tedious tasks.
  • Leverage your exceptional people skills to foster strong relationships and teamwork.
  • Occasional Interstate travel.
  • Have the potential opportunity to transition into a long-term role based on performance and mutual interest.

To succeed in the role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years solid marketing background with a focus on website management, understanding of social media dynamics.
  • Proficiency in assessing and optimising social Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Experience in project management, including collaboration with external parties and agencies. Event management skills is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to tackle meticulous tasks when needed.
  • Outstanding people skills to connect, collaborate, and build relationships effectively.
  • Knowledge of the Chinese market and language skills preferred, but not mandatory.
