The opportunity:

This is a 6-month contract role.

The candidate will need to be a self-starter, detail-oriented, flexible in a fast-paced work environment and committed to support in various areas of our client's Services Operations team in APAC/Japan. Our client would like someone who excels working in a fast-paced environment with a rapidly growing team and constant change.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth running of operations
  • Support documentation and data accuracy activities
  • Maintain accurate and up to date Supplier contracts (work orders)
  • Support PO budget tracking
  • Support Supplier invoice approval & reconciliation processes
  • Support the billings and credit processes
  • Support new Sub-Contractor onboarding process and enablement
  • Resourcing management support
  • Provide internal opportunity management support to Services Sales
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Challenge legacy policies and procedures that complicate quote, order, invoice, credit, commissions, and revenue processing, and formulate creative solutions or workarounds based on that analysis.
  • Participate in new process development and process improvement projects, and other ad hoc projects.
  • Share best practices with and provide cross-training for peers, team members and outside business units to improve the quality and efficiency of support and contribute to the knowledge base.
  • Apply knowledge, skills and judgement to make moderately difficult decisions and resolve issues.

About You:

  • Proven experience in opportunity management or sales operations and support experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and finance reporting skills
  • Previous experience working within a Tech environment (highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated participation in process improvement initiatives and/or project management experience.
  • Excels in a fast-growing/fast-paced environment, delivering accuracy while managing to deadlines where adaptability is imperative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strategic and quick thinker
  • Ability to understand broader business and financial issues
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Strong investigative mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Thrives working under pressure
  • Team player and can work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience and working knowledge with MS Office and Google Apps for Work productivity tools.
