Production Operator (Forklift) - Adhesive Manufacturing

Location: Seven Hills

First 2 weeks is day shift while training:
7am-3pm ($46.47 p/h)
After 2 weeks will be put on a 3 shift rotational roster:
Arvo: 3pm-11pm ($53.44 p/h)
Night: 11pm-7am ($60.41 p/h)


We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Production Operator to join our adhesive manufacturing team in an ongoing, Monday-Friday role with temp-to-perm opportunity. This position operates across a rotating 3-shift roster, so flexibility is essential.



Key Responsibilities


  • Operate production machinery and equipment safely in accordance with work instructions and manufacturing specifications

  • Set up and adjust equipment as required for production runs

  • Manufacture adhesives by mixing chemicals and raw materials in large tanks

  • Accurately weigh and measure products to ensure quality and consistency

  • Monitor product quality, identifying and removing faulty or non-conforming products

  • Maintain accurate daily production records for performance and compliance

  • Perform manual handling and labouring tasks as part of the production process

  • Operate a counterbalance forklift to move raw materials and finished goods (approximately 10-20% of the role)


About You


  • Current forklift licence is essential

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or chemical processing is highly regarded

  • A chemical or process manufacturing background is ideal but not essential

  • Candidates without chemical experience will be considered if they show a strong willingness to learn

  • Available and flexible to work across a rotating 3-shift roster

  • Physically capable of manual work

  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow procedures accurately
