They are looking for a talented Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Identified Communication Advisor to help craft compelling messages, engage their team, and support strategic objectives.

The Role:
As a Communication Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering clear, consistent, and engaging communication across multiple channels. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop strategies, create content, and enhance the organisation's profile both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic communication advice to their program leadership team to enhance internal engagement.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement their program's internal communications plan, ensuring initiatives are proactive, targeted, and outcomes focused.
  • Manage and maintain their program SharePoint site, coordinating content updates and ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and appropriately branded.
  • Prepare, review, and distribute program-wide communications including newsletters, key announcements, leadership updates, and internal reports.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication channels and materials, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to identify communication needs.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely and consistent communication across all levels of their program.
  • Ensure all communication activities adhere to their program policies, processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Support risk management by maintaining confidentiality and ensuring communications reflect accurate and approved information.
