Make a meaningful impact by shaping communication across a major infrastructure program supporting local communities. We're seeking an Aboriginal Identified Communication Advisor to help drive internal engagement, support program alignment, and deliver high‑quality communication across the Program.
About the Organization
With deep expertise in large‑scale water infrastructure delivery, our client's team plays a key role in shaping one of Western Sydney's most transformative infrastructure programs. As a trusted delivery partner to Sydney Water, they help bring to life critical components of the Upper South Creek Networks Program-an initiative delivering over 115 km of pipelines, 11 pumping stations and essential supporting assets to meet the needs of this rapidly growing region.

About the Role
You will work closely with Program leadership and internal teams to deliver clear, consistent, and engaging internal communications. This role is well‑suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, advising leaders, managing content, and keeping teams connected and informed.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing strategic communication advice to the Program Leadership Team
- Developing and delivering internal communication plans and initiatives
- Managing the Program's SharePoint site and updating key content
- Preparing newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, and internal updates
- Monitoring communication effectiveness and recommending improvements
- Supporting stakeholder engagement across multiple teams
- Ensuring all content complies with branding, style guidelines, and approvals
- Protecting confidentiality and ensuring accuracy in all communications
About You
- Experience in communications, internal engagement, content development, or related fields
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing priorities
- Confident in advising leaders and supporting communication needs
- Committed to culturally informed, respectful communication practices
