Are you highly organised, love working with people, and enjoy making a positive difference in the community? Our client delivers waste water infrastructure to support the growth in the Western Sydney region. They are looking for an Administration /Engagement Officer to be the friendly face and steady hand that helps keep our clients projects running smoothly and our community well-informed.

What you'll be doing
No two days will be the same! You'll;

  • Create and share flyers, notices and updates to keep the community informed.
  • Engage with impacted property owners, community members and stakeholders in writing, via phone, and face to face, including meetings, door knocks, information sessions, engagement hubs and site tours.
  • Be a point of contact for the public, answering questions about local civil works in a clear and supportive way.
  • Log and track customer complaints and enquiries in our online portal, making sure they're followed up.
  • Handle calls, emails and drop-ins with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
  • Provide day-to-day admin support to the team, helping everything stay on track.
  • Contribute content and attend Sydney events as required.

What we're looking for
We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong admin and organisational skills - you know how to keep things running smoothly.
  • Great communication skills - you're confident talking with people from all walks of life.
  • A calm and caring approach when handling complaints or concerns.
  • A creative side - you enjoy putting together flyers and clear information that people will read.
  • Confidence with Microsoft Office and a knack for picking up new systems quickly.
