The COVID-19 Coordinator is the primary contact person for the Departments employees regarding matters associated with COVID-19 protocols, with an emphasis on supporting employees to transition to effective new ways of working and efficient and effective delivery of the Departments services.
As a member of the People & Culture team, you'll be an important first point of contact for any employees who have questions, concerns or suggestions related to returning to the office or delivery of the Departments services which are impacted by COVID-19.
You'll use strong administration and systems understanding, in conjunction with your analytical and problem solving skills to quickly resolve issues that arise, fostering an optimum experience in navigating the logistical challenges of adapting to the COVIDSafe workplace, and enabling employees to effectively perform their roles upon their return to the office.
Demonstrable understanding of COVID-19 (and related issues) and curiosity to maintain and improve own understanding as the science and community responses evolve;
Experience working with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation or working with OHS issues;
Demonstrated commitment to the safety of self and others with consideration and courage to report any observed unsafe situation or behaviour.
