Due to rapid growth our client, a proudly Western Australian company, manufacturing and providing solutions of Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, Communications and Industrial IT services to the domestic and international markets. They are seeking an ambitious and experienced Electrical Panel Technician.
The Electrical Panel Technician is responsible for the successful assembly of electrical switchboards ensuring completion to the specified design, quality and time parameters.
As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will work closely with the Leading Hand to ensure panel quality meets / exceeds client expectations.
The technician will ensure effective business outcomes, including:
- Fabrication of low voltage MCC's, control panels, power distribution boards, marshaling panels and communications cubicles to design specifications
- Fabrication of Bus Bar systems in compliance with Australian standards;
- Strong ability to Read and interpret schematic diagrams and single line drawings;
- Understanding of industry expectations and limited understanding of the relevant AS/NZS switchboard standards and requirements
- Timely completion of all required tasks
- Input into the continuous improvement of suitable tools, systems and processes; and
- Complying with HSEQ, design and technical execution standards
Requirements:
- Trade certified Electrician
- Prior Experience as a Panel Technician, switchboard builder etc
