Fitter & Turner - EWP Manufacturing & Maintenance

Responsibilities, Required Skills and Experience

1. Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and component installation on truck mounted Elevated Work Platforms in line with ACM's design, engineering, and manufacturing standards.
2. Perform maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and rebuilds on EWPs, ensuring full compliance with ACM's safety, certification, and inspection procedures.
3. Conduct routine and scheduled inspections, including quarterly, annual, and major inspections on mechanical systems and hydraulic assemblies.
4. Diagnose mechanical faults using ACM's remote access diagnostic tools and implement corrective measures to restore full operational safety.
5. Work collaboratively with engineering and service teams to ensure machinery meets ACM's standards for safety, performance, reliability, and compliance.
6. Trade qualified Fitter & Turner or Mechanical Fitter with strong mechanical assembly and fault?finding experience relevant to heavy equipment, EWPs, or hydraulic machinery. (Aligned with ACM's engineering/manufacturing operations)
7. Experience working with hydraulic, mechanical, and lifting equipment systems, ideally within industries such as telecommunications, power infrastructure, wind energy, or industrial maintenance. (Industries ACM services)
8. Strong commitment to safe work practices and adherence to strict industry compliance, safety protocols, and inspection standards.
