Our client is a world class manufacturing company based in Adelaide supplying products to local and overseas market and due to ongoing demand, are seeking an Electrician to join the production team in Regency Park. The role will see you working as part of an established team.

Duties:

  • Comply with company, State and Federal OH&S, and EEO laws, legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures. Comply with Australian Quality Assurance standards.
  • Execute and promote the company Mission, Vision, and Values statement.
  • Behave as a responsible employee of company and work as part of a team.
  • Complete daily production schedule requirements. Build electrical panels involving component mounting, control/signal and power wiring to AS 3000 and GPA/Group wiring standards using both automatic and semi-automatic machinery.
  • Inspect and test products as per GPA Manufacturing/Production policies and procedures.
  • Report any faulty products, non-conforming components malfunctioning control indicators, dials, and gauges, in accordance with GPA Manufacturing/Production policies and procedures, in order to analyse product performance problems, provide solutions and/or improvements to the product, policy, procedure, process, test, components, etc.
  • Ensure product is dispatched on time as per production schedule. Provide service and support to all internal and external customers.
  • Ensure that BOM's are altered where required to reflect the correct components required to assemble to Standards.
  • Participate in production
  • Consistently achieve production KPI's as determined by the Electrical Team Leader and/or Production Manager.
  • Ensure all machinery is maintained and serviced in accordance with OH&S legislation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the general working area and machinery.
  • Other duties as assigned by Electrical Team Leader.
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested, commensurate with the position

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualification (Grade A Electrical Licence)
  • Experience in the operation of machinery and materials
  • Panel Building (Electrical)
  • Knowledge in OHS&W practices
