Job description
Manpower Australia is seeking expressions of interest from highly skilled professionals to support major national projects across Defence, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, security, and utilities sectors.
We are building talent pipelines for current and upcoming opportunities across:
- Nuclear/Radiation Safety Engineers, Officers and Specialists (Principal/Senior/Engineer levels)
- Project Managers, Engineers/Designer (All Disciplines), and Project Controls Specialists
- Estimators, Planners and Cost Engineers
- HSE/WHS Managers, Safety Advisor, and Compliance Officers
- ESG Engineers, Managers, Advisor, and Officers
- Quality, Risk, Security and Governance Specialists
About the Opportunities
These roles play a critical part in shaping Australia's long-term industrial, Infrastructure and defence capability, including once-in-a-generation energy and infrastructure programs. Positions range from hands-on engineering through to senior advisory and leadership roles, working in partnership with government, industry, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities (Role-Dependent):
- Provide safety, risk, and engineering expertise across large-scale projects
- Support design, construction, and operation of major facilities and assets
- Prepare and review safety cases, hazard analyses, and compliance documentation
- Drive project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor and uplift capability within technical and operational teams
What We're Looking For:
- Degree-qualified engineers or equivalent technical discipline
- Experience in one or more of the following: Defence, shipbuilding, construction, heavy manufacturing, utilities, energy, or security infrastructure
- Strong stakeholder management and technical communication skills
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and high performance
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance (where required)
