They work in close collaboration with their investors to develop tailor made investment strategies and seamlessly execute the investment mandates. They understand the fundamental drivers, market trends, different cultures and practices of the value chain segments and geographies they invest in, making them a formidable force in their chosen market.

They are currently seeking to appoint a Finance Business Partner in a broad, commercially focused role.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the CFO, the Finance Business Partner will oversee the day-to-day finance functions for a major asset and ensure accurate month-end and other management reporting information including is delivered acutely and on time. In addition, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: -

  • Working with the operations teams team to ensure the inventory systems and process are managed with a high level of internal control and provide accurate reporting outcomes
  • Preparation of all divisional financial and cash flow reporting, planning, forecasting, variance analysis and KPI reporting activities, including annual budget plans
  • Providing financial analysis of monthly results and business performance
  • Supporting the sales and operations teams to access business transactions providing scenario analysis and business case support
  • Driving financial performance through ongoing development and refinement of key reporting metrics.
  • Product costing and inventory analysis
  • Partnering with the manufacturing and operations team to analyse causes of variances and provide an analysis of trends, costs and other information as requested
  • Presenting the financial results monthly with detailed analysis of variances to budget, forecast and last year
  • Actively participating in continuous improvement projects for operations, including the calculation and preservation of cost saving initiatives



About you

The Finance Business Partner will provide the Financial Controller and the Chief Financial Officer and their operational stakeholders with high quality information and insights to guide decision making for all commercial aspects of Supply Chain, Stock Control, Maintenance and Sales within their asset as well as regularly consult with senior managers. Therefore, well-honed stakeholder engagement skills are essential - an outgoing, proactive, enthusiastic attitude and clear, concise communication are essential.


Skills & Experience

  • CA/CPA qualified or progression towards
  • Experience providing management reports, analysing profitability and progress against budget
  • Track record or the ability to work with Operational Managers to prepare budgets and help them understand the key drivers of their business
  • Experience with Budgeting, Forecasting, and driving growth
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
