The Role

Are you an immediately available Financial modeller looking for your next project? Are you a financial expert with a knack for data analysis and modelling? Are you passionate about using your skills to drive economic development and provide strategic insights to businesses? If so, we want you to join our team as a Financial Modeler for a project.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and decision-making.
  • Analyze economic data, industry trends, and market dynamics to provide valuable insights to local businesses.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess and improve the financial health of member companies.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments and recommend strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Produce clear and actionable reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations, economic policies, and industry best practices.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (CFA, CFP, etc.) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial modelling, data analysis, and forecasting.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modelling software, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Knowledge of local and regional economic trends is a plus.
  • A passion for supporting local businesses and economic development.
