Seeking addition to their finance team, they are looking for a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, and with a career progression plan of moving towards a Finance Manager role.

The Role

As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for leading a small Finance team and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer. Duties will include, but not be limited to:-

  • Management of weekly KPI reporting
  • Provide analysis & insights into KPI results & purchasing behaviours of individual sites, focused predominately on concerning trends, deviation from site targets & potential fraud transactions
  • Management of month end closing & reporting, including P&L reviews using standard management accounting practises for both corporate stores & the franchisor
  • Management & reporting of consolidated balance sheets & cashflow movements
  • Supervision of AP & AR processes & management of team error & corrective action
  • IAS, BAS, super & payroll tax preparation & lodgements
  • Responding to enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders and ad-hoc duties as required
  • Assist with network benchmarking & analysis of site performances
  • Assist with budget & forecasts planning
  • Provide support & act as a backup for corporate payroll processing
  • Interrelated entity account management

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or related discipline
  • CA/CPA
  • Strong Financial Accounting and Management Accounting background
  • Retail industry experience essential
  • Knowledge & Experience with Xero essential
  • Current knowledge of accounting standards, principles and practice
  • Ability to drive efficiencies, insights and informed decision making through extensive analysis
  • Strong Implementation, Team Work, Relationship Building, Mental Stamina, and Communication Skills
  • Strong Systems and Excel skills - preferably Xero software
  • Hands on propensity and a can-do attitude when it comes to detail-oriented work
