Ensure engineering activities align with defence, safety, and industry standards
Develop and review technical documentation, including manuals and compliance artefacts
Provide engineering input for acquisition, maintenance, and logistics support
Participate in obsolescence reviews and system upgrades for breathing and pressure systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, logistics, and project delivery
About You:
You are a detail-oriented engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical, systems, or marine engineering, and experience working on complex, safety-critical systems.
You bring:
A recognised degree in Mechanical, Systems, Marine, or Mechatronic Engineering
Experience in defence, offshore, diving, or hyperbaric environments
Proficiency in technical documentation, configuration management, and compliance standards
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Current or previous NV1 Security Clearance, with eligibility for reinstatement
Australian Citizenship (required due to security clearance and ITAR regulations)
Willingness to work on-site in Sydney (minimum 3 days per week); relocation support available for suitable candidates
What's on Offer:
Engagement in a nationally significant, long-term defence program
Collaboration with engineering leaders in a safety-critical maritime environment
Competitive salary package and exposure to high-impact projects
Relocation support for interstate applicants
Sydney-based role with a strong team culture and hands-on collaboration
