SHEQ Manager (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality & Compliance, including RTW)
Full-time | Compliance Department | Reports to CEO

The Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced SHEQ Manager to lead our SHEQ and compliance framework across the organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, embedding a strong culture of safety and accountability, and ensuring full compliance with all legislative and contractual obligations.
This position also incorporates Return-to-Work (RTW) Coordinator responsibilities, supporting injured or ill employees through safe, timely, and durable rehabilitation programs.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of WHS policies, risk management strategies, and safety initiatives.

Conduct audits, inspections, and investigations, ensuring corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Manage ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001, 27001) and oversee quality, environmental, and WHS systems.

Oversee licences, insurance compliance, contractor onboarding, and compliance portals (e.g. CM3, Rapid Global, Guardhouse).

Act as RTW Coordinator, working with employees, practitioners, and insurers to achieve safe rehabilitation outcomes.

Drive training and development in SHEQ, compliance, and RTW obligations across the workforce.

Partner with managers, clients, and industry bodies to strengthen compliance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
What We're Looking For

Diploma or higher in Work Health & Safety (minimum Cert IV WHS).

Proven experience in SHEQ management within security, cleaning, or related industries.

Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, ISO standards, compliance frameworks, and RTW obligations.

Demonstrated success in audits, risk management, and incident investigation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
