Job description

Our client is a leading provider of pet cremation services in Australia with a national footprint.
This role contributes significantly to providing premium customer service by carrying out pet aftercare services in a professional and compassionate manner supporting the company's purpose in "Honouring a Lifetime of Unconditional Love".

Responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Assist in phone enquiries as required including liaising with clinics and/or customers to clarify order requirements

Preparations

  • Washing and drying pets for viewings if needed
  • Carrying out viewing cremations and gold and platinum cremations as required
  • Managing the cool rooms and the pets on hold, liaising with the Client Care team to expedite pets to cremation within guidelines

Keepsakes

  • Taking fur clippings from pets in accordance with client requirements
  • Preparing pets for office viewings and cremations
  • Taking clay paw prints of pets
  • Taking ink paw prints on card ensuring quality, clear prints including trimming fur between claws and cutting claws as required
  • Taking digital paw print photos, uploading to computer system and creating cards ensuring quality of print in preparation for delivery to client
  • Place pet's ashes into urns, wooden boxes and finalise preparation of bags to be returned to clients
  • Coordinate external product engraving as required ensuring quality control is maintained and aligned with marketed products
  • Carry out accurate data entry and reporting via the Pet Tracker database

Stock Management

  • Assisting with warehouse duties, including stock movements, seeing in deliveries and keeping the area neat and tidy

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Maintain a positive attitude whilst under pressure
