Job description

We are currently partnering a well-established national law firm recognised among Australia's top legal practices. The firm is known for delivering exceptional client service within a collaborative and supportive environment. The Sydney are looking to expand out their legal assistant team in both the Sydney and ACT offices for their Competition, Regulatory & Risk departments. Role Overview:

  • Provide administrative and legal support to a busy litigation team
  • Ensure smooth operation of legal processes and team coordination

Key Responsibilities:

  • File opening and closure procedures
  • Court document filing and lodgement
  • Billing and invoice preparation
  • Archiving and file management
  • Diary and calendar coordination
  • Expense preparation and reconciliation
  • Client communication and phone handling
  • General administrative support

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 2 year's experience in a legal assistant role within a litigation practice
  • Must have strong experience and proven experience in the opening and closing of files
  • Must have strong and proven experience in billing
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Team-oriented with a client service mindset
  • Please note: law students will not be considered for this position
