Logistics Coordinator

Location: Kilsyth, VIC
Rate: $38 per hour + super
Hours: 9am-4pm (flexible)

About the Role

You will play a key part in supporting daily transport, freight, and inventory operations while acting as a central communication point between internal teams and external logistics partners. Accuracy, organisation, and proactive follow‑up are essential to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Transport Coordination & Reporting

• Maintain the daily road transport manifest
• Track and follow up on delivery status for all consignments
• Act as the main liaison between Customer Service, Procurement, Warehouse, and carriers

Invoice Processing

• Process and reconcile weekly invoices from transport providers, 3PL partners, and international carriers

Freight Management (Sea & Air)

• Obtain quotations for ad hoc shipments
• Plan and book sea and air freight to meet delivery timelines
• Prepare and issue export documentation
• Manage delivery dockets for intercompany export consignments

Import/Export Coordination

• File import documents and liaise with clearing/delivery agents
• Coordinate container arrivals and export loading with the warehouse
• Monitor and update inventory information for 3PL‑managed stock

CHEP & Pallet Management

• Process CHEP hire, transfer, and return transactions accurately
