Afternoon shift - 12:00pm to 8:00pm or 2:00pm to 10:00pm depending on workload.
Our Client is a leading provider of high-speed laser cutting services. As a dynamic and nationally recognised company specialising in the manufacture and marketing of building and home improvement products, they boasts a track record of continual growth.
We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Operator to join our Queensland Production team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an adaptable and customer-focused individual to play a vital role within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operation of CO2 & Fibre laser cutting machines
- Conducting quality assurance checks
- De-tagging and de-burring finished products as required
- Labelling, storing, and packing finished products
- Operating a forklift for material loading, unloading, and storage
- Manual loading and unloading of suitable materials
- Adhering to OH&S guidelines, company policies, and standards
Skills, Experience, and Attributes:
- Preferably experience in operating Trumpf Lasers
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and follow instructions
- Capability to interpret basic technical drawings
- Previous experience with laser cutting equipment is desirable
- Possession of a forklift license (Bonus)
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Keen attention to detail
