Manufacturing & Packaging Technician - Bendigo


Hourly Rate: $32.25 + Super
Location: Bendigo, VIC
Shift: Day shift - 8:00am to 4:00pm
Employment Type: Casual with full-time hours


Are you reliable, hands-on, and looking for a role in a clean, regulated production environment?
We're currently seeking a Manufacturing & Packaging Technician to join a supportive and high-performing team based in Bendigo. This is an exciting opportunity to work across both Packaging and Manufacturing functions within the animal health sector.




Key Responsibilities


Packaging Duties




  • Operate packaging machinery and related equipment




  • Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)




  • Carry out manual handling tasks and precise hand work




  • Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards (clean-room environment)




  • Complete basic SAP or system transactions as required




  • Read and interpret labels and small-print documentation




  • Wear appropriate PPE and follow gowning protocols




  • Ensure consistent housekeeping and compliance with quality protocols




  • Lift items up to 25kg and stand for periods of up to 2 hours




Manufacturing Duties




  • Prepare materials and equipment for production




  • Operate filling and packing machines




  • Blend and fill animal health products (vaccines)




  • Grow viral or bacterial antigens and filter media




  • Maintain accurate documentation and production records






About You


We are looking for someone who can bring the following qualities:




  • High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely




  • Strong mechanical aptitude and good problem-solving skills




  • A reliable team player who can also work independently




  • Willingness to rotate between Packaging and Manufacturing tasks




  • Physically fit and able to meet manual handling requirements




  • Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or cleanroom environments is highly regarded
