Job description
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist (Contract) to support our APAC and MEA Partner Sales team within the Marketing, Brand and Communications (MBC) division at our Sydney based client. This role plays a key part in driving brand awareness, increasing market share, and supporting channel partner growth across these regions.
You'll collaborate closely with Field Teams and Account Managers, helping to execute marketing initiatives that meet quarterly targets. The ideal candidate will bring experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and geographically diverse marketing environment-preferably within the tech industry.
This is a Sydney-based role, with flexible work-from-home arrangements and fortnightly in-person collaboration with the local team.
Key Responsibilities
- Event management: Organise and support a range of events from partner meetings, sales trainings, tradeshows and webinars.
- Field sales team support: Assist field sales teams with campaign execution, reporting, and logistics
- Marketing assets development: Work with agencies and suppliers to deliver creatives for in-store and online promotions
- Campaign support: Contribute to the development and roll-out of promotional campaigns
- Supplier and agency coordination: Maintain effective relationships with external vendors and creative agencies
- Inventory management: Track and manage marketing materials and promotional items
- Budget management: Support and monitor marketing budgets in coordination with partner teams
Qualifications & Experience
- 1-2 years experience in a marketing or sales support role
- Experience in organising and supporting events and tradeshows
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience in IT channel marketing is a plus
- Familiarity with retail marketing environments
- Comfortable working across multiple internal teams and external stakeholders
- Basic understanding for budget planning and tracking
