Manpower Australia is looking for an experienced Product Manager in Melbourne, Victoria.

Our client is one of Australia's leading retailers who owns and operates stores in most sectors across Australia and New Zealand. You will be working within the Financial Services team responsible for digital payment transactions, lending, reconciliation, and settlement portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Product Manager focused on relevant Digital products (API & Internet Payment Gateways) you will be responsible for:

  • Defining, developing, delivering, and tracking the roadmap for the relevant digital products.
  • Manage the evolution of the customer value proposition to ensure the product is relevant and compelling for the target market.
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements and business processes across payment channels.
  • Supporting the project team in the successful delivery of projects to ensure the deliverables meet the defined requirements.
  • Manage the engagement with our SaaS delivery partners, including vendor management to drive outcomes that are commercially viable.
  • Working closely and effectively managing a broad group of stakeholders and in particular Brand partners
  • Support the design and implementation of change management activities to support the product.

We're looking for someone who has

  • 6+ years of experience working as a product manager or product owner with a proven track record managing stakeholder relationships with external vendors, across the value chain.
  • Experience with payment-related products or with technical products or platforms.
  • Comfortable using collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello & SharePoint.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to liaise with Fintech delivery partners, SaaS providers, Card schemes, Operations, Finance, Marketing (internal & external) & legal.
  • Experience working in a hybrid agile role and/or familiarity with waterfall, scrum & other project management methodologies.
  • Subject matter expert (SME)/fin-tech industry experience a strong plus.
  • Ability to map processes and identify improvement opportunities for the business.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a precise talent for articulating customer challenges.
  • Excellent people management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
