Job Title: Media Preparation Technician - Cleanroom Environment (Casual)
Location: Bendigo, VIC
Rate: $31.23 p/h + Super
Employment Type: Casual (3-5 days per week, Monday to Friday), 8am-4pm
Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a lab or cleanroom environment?
We're seeking a casual Media Preparation Technician to join a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Bendigo. This role supports critical production and quality control functions by preparing media and maintaining cleanroom standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Media Preparation, formulating solutions for use in Production and QC from Raw Materials
• Recording raw material details in Batch Process Records (BPRs) to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Moving materials around lab on trolleys (Push Pull - Up to 30 Kg)
• Weighing of materials and additions to vessels, lifting containers to approximately shoulder height, with 6kg being the heaviest for short periods of time
• Manual stirring of solutions, done for no longer than 10 minutes before rotating with another operator.
• Clean room activity: Filtering and dispensing solutions - moving equipment and materials into position for the manufacturing process.
• Complying with EHS, DAWE, OGTR & APVMA regulations
• Replenishment of gowns and other products

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• When entering the Lab, operators gown into scrubs to perform general lab duties.
• Ability to work in a Cleanroom environments
• Physically fit to be able to complete manual handling tasks
• High attention to detail
• Understanding of Aseptic Processes and GMP behaviours
