Company Overview:

Our client is a nationally recognised training organisation specialising in quality training solutions for organisations and individuals. The right candidate will be an integral and effective member of the Training Administration Team and and answer directly to the CEO.

Role Objectives:
The RTO Operations Assistant is responsible to assist the senior management team to effectively manage the RTO operations in the delivery of services in order to achieve key business outcomes and quality assurance requirements.

Full Job Description:

  • Providing support with the leadership, management, performance and development of staff to ensure that the delivery of RTO services reflects best practice and quality outcomes.
  • Providing support to the Training Manager with the management, performance and development of the training team to ensure training and assessment services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Supporting the Compliance Manager with the development and maintenance of RTO policies and procedures.
  • Providing support and assistance (where required) to the Training Services Team.
  • Other duties as assigned by the CEO.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the provision of administrative support services within a team environment.
  • Understanding of the VET Quality Framework, RTO Standards and relevant legislation.
  • Interaction with others in a calm and considered approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Problem solving skills, creative and critical thinking.
  • Time management and basic project management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised.
  • Be receptive to changing environments and work processes.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Prior experience working in an administrative capacity in an RTO.
  • An understanding of the Australian vocational education system, including the RTO Standards.
  • Ability to use a range of technologies effectively including Microsoft Office software.
  • Qualification in Administration or Management.
