Job description

An experienced Senior Business Analyst is required to support a major upgrade of a leading Financial Crime platform. The uplift involves enhanced algorithms designed to strengthen detection capability and deliver greater efficiency in screening outcomes.

This role will focus on calibration runs to assess algorithm changes, analyse impacts on detection and efficiency, document findings, and design effective future-state screening scenarios. The successful candidate will work closely with technology, vendor, and risk teams to ensure robust validation, smooth implementation, and sustainable business alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead calibration runs to evaluate algorithm enhancements and assess impact on detection and efficiency.

  • Document change impacts, associated risks, and opportunities for improved screening coverage.

  • Collaborate with vendor, technology, and business stakeholders to enable enhanced platform capabilities.

  • Map current-state detection logic to future-state configurations and support operational design.

  • Develop and maintain scenario documentation, testing strategies, and validation frameworks.

  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders and maintain delivery momentum.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst on large-scale technology transformation or platform migration projects.

  • Strong knowledge of financial crime monitoring, screening, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Exposure to vendor solutions such as SAS, NetReveal, or similar financial crime monitoring platforms.

  • End-to-end delivery experience, from requirements through testing and implementation.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage diverse business, technology, and vendor groups.

  • Skilled in process documentation, scenario mapping, and operating model design.
