Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Shredding Specialist with a valid forklift licence to join a secure document handling facility in Rydalmere. This is a hands-on, physical role focused on the secure destruction of sensitive materials. Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks with paper and media for shredding
Operate shredders, balers, and dust extraction systems
Safely operate forklifts and complete daily equipment safety checks
Assist with basic preventative maintenance and general housekeeping
Use hand held devices to manage service orders (download/upload)
Comply with all safety, security, and confidentiality procedures
Support general warehouse and facility operations
What We're Looking For:
Current and valid forklift licence - Essential
Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg
Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
Reliable, punctual, and motivated to learn
Previous experience in warehouse or equipment operation - Desirable but not required
Salary:
$35.46 per hour
Hours:
Monday to Friday
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Full-time hours, with regular shifts
