Position Overview
As a Site Services Person, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our site. This hands-on role involves a variety of tasks including grounds maintenance, gardening, general cleaning, and basic security monitoring. Your work will contribute directly to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors, supporting our commitment to excellence in facility management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Grounds & Lawn Maintenance
• Operate and maintain ride-on mowers and other grounds keeping equipment to ensure lawns and outdoor areas are well-kept and presentable.
• Regularly mow lawns, trim edges along sidewalks and pathways, and maintain landscaped areas to enhance the site's visual appeal.
• Perform seasonal grounds keeping tasks such as pruning, weeding, mulching, and minor landscaping projects.
2. Cleaning
• Conduct general cleaning and sweeping of work areas, including outdoor spaces and communal zones.
• Ensure waste is properly disposed of and bins are regularly emptied and maintained.
3. Security Alarm Checks
• Perform routine checks to ensure security alarms are operational.
• Respond promptly to alarm activation's or security concerns, and escalate issues to the appropriate personnel as needed.
4. General Maintenance
• Carry out light maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs, addressing minor plumbing issues, and performing basic painting or repairs.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining site facilities as required.
5. Safety and Compliance
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
• Identify and report safety hazards, equipment faults, or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in grounds maintenance, including the safe operation of ride-on mowers and other landscaping equipment.
• Knowledge of general horticultural practices and outdoor facility upkeep.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks efficiently.
• Basic understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
